Why an interim website?

We're moving to the cloud...

... and need time for our various institutional ducks to line up.

So this is just a holding site while the "real" site is being built.

The aim is to make everything easier, more reliable and redundancy-free in both human and logistic terms.

To do so, we're working on a system building on 30 years' experience in market-research interpreting and 15 years of bespoke management database design. It is intended to eliminate time-wasting and errors, and work for everyone. Data will only need to be entered once, be checked for consistency, then shared securely with specific stakeholders (clients, interpreters, moderators, etc.) according to rôle.

I should have guessed, creating an app is far more complicated and time-consuming than I thought... 🙄

For now, the current site is to just give a heads-up as to where 'things' are at the moment, talk about what we do, and show what I hope is a transparent price list
